Privacy at Event366

Event 366, Inc., a Delaware corporation, operates Event366 and is responsible for the personal information described in this notice. This notice describes the current Event366 practice website. Future real-money services will have separate disclosures before launch.

Information we use

We store your email address, private full name, public display name, country, confirmation that you are 18 or older, hashed password, session records, email-verification status, optional promotional-email preference, and practice activity. Activity includes virtual balances, positions, orders, watchlists, and notes. If you register through a referral link, we record the referring account and signup time. Partners see an aggregate signup count, not your email address.

Why we use it

We use this information to operate your account, preserve your practice activity, recover access, verify your email, attribute referrals, and prevent abuse. Authentication requests use time-limited rate-limit records that may include your email address and request IP address. Passwords are stored as hashes, not readable text. Recovery and verification tokens are stored as hashes with expiration times.

Cookies and service providers

A necessary session cookie keeps you signed in. Our hosting and database providers process requests and account records to operate the service. Fonts may be requested from Google Fonts. If account email delivery is enabled, an email delivery provider processes your email address and the message. Market-data providers receive server requests for event information. This practice website does not collect bank details, payment information, or identity documents.

Community chat

Chat messages are visible to signed-in members. We store the message, its author account, and its posting time. Your public display name is shown; older accounts without one use an automatic member label. Your email address and full name are not shown in chat. Reports record the reporting account and message; reporting hides that message from your own view. You can delete your own posts. Deleting your account removes its chat posts and reports. Do not post private information in community messages.

Ask Event366

The help panel answers coin questions using only the signed-in account. It does not move coins or change predictions. Built-in guidance and account summaries do not require an AI provider. If AI answers are available and you choose to use them, your typed question and earlier AI exchanges are sent to OpenAI to generate an answer. Saved account balances, positions, email addresses and identifiers are not automatically included. Avoid entering private information, passwords or verification codes. Help conversations are kept in the current page memory, not saved as account chat history. AI responses are requested with response storage disabled; provider security and retention practices still apply. Usage-limit counters are stored to control abuse and cost. Closing or refreshing the page does not send a support email.

Your choices

Promotional email is optional and can be changed in Settings. Account and security messages are separate. Balances and open predictions carry over; daily coin claims do not reset your activity. Clearing browser cookies signs you out; it does not delete your server account.

Retention and deletion

Account records are retained while your account remains active. Expired sessions, security tokens, and rate-limit records are removed by scheduled maintenance when available. To request access, correction, or deletion of your account information, email privacy@event366.com from your account email. We may ask you to verify ownership before acting on a request.

How Event366 works

  1. The price is the chance

A Yes price of 62¢ means the market gives it about a 62% chance. Prices move as the odds change, and you can sell before the result.

  2. A winning contract pays 1 coin

Each contract pays 1 coin (100¢) if you are right and nothing if you are wrong. 100 contracts at 62¢ cost 62 coins and pay 100 coins if they win.

  3. Play money only

Coins have no cash value: they cannot be bought, withdrawn or redeemed. Claim 2,500 free practice coins every 24 hours. The Event366 exchange keeps a separate coin wallet, with its own claim of 2,500 exchange coins every 24 hours.
